POLYGON Singing Rock has been used for training of workers at heights since 2008. In that time, tens of thousands of workers working at height have been through our training and education programs. These training centres create ideal conditions for providing health and safety training for work at heights and above free depth, for testing personal fall protection equipment (hereinafter referred to as PPE), for organizing industrial climbing competitions and many other events related to the demonstration and use of products and techniques associated with this area.
Thanks to our individual approach, top-quality equipment and great emphasis on the practical part, our training courses are highly demanded by individuals and companies not only in the Czech Republic.
Trainers
The POLYGON team is made up of trainers who have gained and are gaining their experience through daily movement at heights in various work areas or situations. Thanks to the close connection with Singing Rock's development department and production, our trainers are also experts in the production of PPE which are used to secure people at heights and above free depth.
POLYGON's trainers regularly upgrade their qualifications in special courses and often participate as organisers of workshops, trade fairs and competitions all over the world, giving them a comprehensive overview and an appropriate amount of experience in the industry of working at heights. They are thus able to competently design systems and methodologies for securing persons at height and to pass on their experience to the participants of their training courses. Elements taken from the internationally recognised methodology of the IRATA ropeway association, the International Arboricultural Association ISA and the European Tree Worker certification are implemented in the practical training.
POLYGON training programmes
We use our POLYGONs in Poniklá and Kladno and in our Polygon partners (Brno, Ostrava, Karlovy Vary) for a wide range of training courses for working at heights. Since often the workplace operation or climatic conditions do not allow safe and effective training of workers, the possibility of using POLYGONs is offered as an ideal and above all safer and more effective option.
Modern multimedia classrooms are available for the theoretical part of the training. The practical part takes place in spacious halls where we can find examples of many model situations for working at heights and above free depth. POLYGONs have a complete PPE equipment for securing and moving people during work at heights. The trainees thus have the opportunity to work together with the trainer to design effective and safe equipment for the specific activity. The complete equipment is loaned free of charge to each participant for the entire training period.
We offer both pre-defined training courses and " customized" training according to the special requirements of the client. In view of the client's special conditions, we also provide training at the client's workplace, at the specific location where the work at height is carried out. All training is in accordance with current EU and Czech legislation..
POLYGON is not only a training course, but also a space for testing products and techniques by the height workers themselves. Presence during fall or other equipment tests, the possibility of consulting directly with the PPE manufacturer are other significant advantages of our POLYGON.
